Gardens of Versailles

The Gardens of Versailles or Jardins du château de Versailles occupy the area west of the palace. The gardens are ornately decorated with perfectly manicured lawns, flowers, grass and fountains. They are on the UNESCO World Heritage List and one of the most visited places in France.

The Orangerie

The highlight of the tour was witnessing the Grandes Eaux in which all the fountains literally came to live with water spectacles and music. It was a beautiful surprise and totally unexpected.

The Gardens of Versailles are simply beautiful. I have not the words to explain. They are absolutely astonishing and unbelievable. I highly recommend a trip to Versailles when in Paris.
