New York is very exciting during the holidays. Among the city’s biggest attraction is the Christmas tree that is annually up for display at Rockefeller Center. This year the tree will be up from December 3 – January 7th. Once it is taken down it is then donated to Habitat for Humanity.
As a New Yorker I am guilty of taking the many attractions that the city has to offer for granted. So I decided to take a trip to Rockefeller Center to see the tree and appreciate living in New York City.
While I have walked by the area and the center many times this is actually my first time taking a moment to enjoy the beauty and the holiday vibe.
The tree was beautifully lift and totally covered in lights. The entire plaza was very festive with decorations and Christmas music. Wish that I had the chance to see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall but there is always next year!
