Symbol Challenge: Lennon Wall, Prague

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Symbol.”

The Lennon Wall which is named after Beatles Singer, John Lennon, is a popular tourist attraction as well as a symbol for freedom, love and peace. The wall was originally used by students to voice their grievances against the Czech government. Today, it has evolved to visitors writing anything from inspirational phrases to lyrics of Beatles songs.

The Lennon Wall was one of my favorite attractions in Prague because of the symbolism behind it. I passed it quite a few times and always stopped to read the messages. I am quite fond of preserving history and such artwork.
